Electives-Sock Monkey

Another project we did was a sock monkey.  This one was a little harder as Emily had not ever sewn yet.  I did the machine sewing and Emily tried her hand as sewing with a needle and thread.

Thanksgiving 2006

We spent Thanksgiving with my parents at their place.  

We continued our tradition of making a Christmas ornament after we had dinner and had cleaned up.  The girls had fun making snowmen about of felt and they used pony beads to decorate them.  

Electives-Pumpkin Pie

We signed up for some electives with Connections Academy.  One of the electives we chose was Home Life.  It gave us the opportunity to try many exciting projects.  Our first project was a pumpkin pie.  We had fun cooking the pumpkin, whisking the eggs, baking it, and or course eating it after Thanksgiving Dinner!

Scott's Birthday Weekend

I surprised Scott with tickets to watch Howie Mandel.  The next day we went to The Evergreen Aviation Museum.
