February Classroom Art Project

I have been trying to do at least one art project a month with my class.  This is our February project.  I got this Heart Art idea and gave my students a lot of freedom in how they chose to complete it.  I love all the different ones and how they turned out.  Some students were absent and didn't get to do it, but the majority did and they enjoyed it.  Emily was also in my classroom that day because Newberg did not have school.  The students loved meeting her and having her help.

Our friend Travis came over to help Scott with the install because the cabinets are large and bulky and I was not feeling well.  Scott let him have a little fun with the drill.

Tea with GrandMary

For Christmas GrandMary got us a certificate to go to tea together.  There is a place called Wildwood Cottage that is a tea room and you can make greeting cards.  We did both!

After enjoying tea, we moved into another room to make greeting cards.  It was a lot of fun and very low pressure because there were lots of samples and everything was prepped for you.
