We went out to Applebee's to celebrate Father's Day. 

Year End Student Gifts

I had the students write down words to describe their classmates.  I then took their words and created a Wordle for each student.  I printed and framed them and gave them to the students at the end of the year.

Final Band Concert and Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!

Emily had a band concert tonight.  We left her conductor know that it was her birthday and could she leave as soon as she was done playing.  Thankfully her band played first and they only had two songs.  He was gracious enough to let her go.  

We went to Old Spaghetti Factory and celebrated Emily's 15th birthday and our 18th Anniversary.

3rd Grade Marshmallow Challenge

My 4th graders went to swimming lessons/survival swim and I had just my 3td graders.  We did lots of fun things while the 4th graders were gone.  On this day, we did a marshmallow and toothpick challenge.  They were to create a structure that could hold the most pennies.
