My classroom this year has a Patriotic theme.  

Entrance to classroom-the stars have the students names on them

Calendar and Classroom Jobs (i.e. President-line leader, Vice President-substitute, Department of Energy-lights, etc...)

Growth Mindset

The one bulletin board in my classroom that I will change out.  This is the board that shows what we are studying in Science or Social Studies.  We are doing a unit on US Symbols right now which will lead into the Capitol building, Branches of Government, and the Election Process.

Sunflowers

This spring I planted sunflowers in our front yard.  The package said that they would grow to about 2-3 feet.  Some of them got way taller than us.  

I love this one!  Especially because you can see a bee buzzing towards the flower!

The honeybees loved the flowers!

Champoeg with The Morgan Family

Today we went to Champoeg with The Morgan Family.  We packed a picnic lunch and took a walk until we found a new playground that had been put in.   It was a very fun morning spent with friends.
