My 40th birthday week started off with a bang. My friend Kalina surprised me by decorating my front door on Monday.
Tuesday I went out to lunch with my mother-in-law. We had a delicious lunch at Cheesecake factory, followed by some shopping at the mall.
On Tuesday, Kalina brought over some delicious desert. I have found this recipe years ago, but had it made it till just recently. Kalina was a fan, and has since made it numerous time. She brought over some as a surprise. It was delicious!
Wednesday (my actual birthday), I awoke to signs all over the house.

Travis and Kalina have this can opener and when we saw it, we were super impressed. It opens the can and does not leave a sharp edge. It was a wonderful surprise and has been well used.

Scott bought me a new sewing machine and the girls got me a new cutting mat.
Scott and I went out to dinner at Pastini's for my birthday dinner.
