We are almost a month into our kitchen remodel. It is going really well and we have made great progress. This remodel is being done in between my work, Scott's school and his work, and life in general.
Scott did a little rewiring by the pantry cabinets because if he hadn't we would have lost the outlet that was there when he put in the cabinets. So, I cut a hole in the cabinets and left that outlet and then added more wiring and created an outlet between the upper and lower cabinets and he gave me an outlet that has two USB ports. It is pretty awesome!
The next phase required more demo as we needed to remove the upper cabinets above the stove so that Scott could remove the soffit and install new cabinets on the wall.
Cabinets above the stove are gone. The room already feels so much more open.
