This year one of Mom and Dad's Christmas presents to Lauren and I was a family season pass to Cooper Spur. We have already been a few times (5 maybe?), but this time just Dad and I went. We started the day with some Dutch Bros and headed off for the mountain. We usually rent our gear because of simplicity, but with just the two of us, we packed our own, so as soon as we got to the mountain we started skiing. It was a very empty day, and at first the snow was a little rough from melting the day before and then re freezing the previous night. A couple hours in though, the snow was amazing!
I went on a black diamond (the hardest run on the mountain) for the first time!
Dad and I did every run on the mountain!
All in all Dad and I went down the mountain 21 times and by the end our legs felt like jelly! So, we ended the day with my favorite food... Chick-fil-A. It was amazing and we even got ice cream!
I ordered a large thinking it would be like the picture showed on the menu, however they filled this whole cup and I had to share some with Dad because there was so much!
