On May seventh, my science class went on a field trip to the George Fox- Hess Creek site. We collected data to see if the stream was healthy. We did Water Quality Testing, an Erosion walk, and a macroinvertebrate station. A macroinvereabrate is a small organism you can see with the naked eye that has no spine.
This is a biofall that we saw along our walk.
This is the creek.
Vegetation! (Horse Tails)
When I try to be a photographer and get one of those really cool tree pictures.
Here I am "fishing" with a kick net for macroinvertebrates.
Kicking up the bugs
CRAWDAD!
Here is my friend Sydney and I waiting to go to the buses.
