For many years we have always decorated for Christmas after Thanksgiving. I've also had a rule that we are not allow to listen to/sing Christmas songs until after Thanksgiving. This year we are traveling to Maryland and flying back on Thanksgiving so I decided it would be nice to have all the decorations up before we left. The girls could not believe it!

A surprise visit from friends!
While I was decorating, Scott was working on laying down more hallway flooring. The hallway is not fun. Scott has to cut away part of all the door jambs in order to fit the flooring under the door jamb.
