Day 11- Frederick, MD to Wildersville, TN

This morning we left Frederick, and headed off for Tennessee.
Leaving Maryland

Potomac River

We drove through Virginia for a half mile, then we crossed into West Virginia.

We drove through West Virginia for 16 miles and then crossed back into Virginia.

Boiled peanuts anyone?  Dad tricked us on a previous road trip to try these and they were gross!  This time we knew better.  They are disgusting!  They are mushy and taste so gross!

Crazy cheap eggs!

Off in the distance I could see some rain clouds...

... and then all the sudden we had pouring down rain for a minute, and then it was gone.

Arriving at Crown College.

After Crown, we still had four more hours to drive to our hotel. This was by far one of our longest travel days.

Sunset

Thunder cloud in the distance.

Gross looking bug that was on the top of dad's car after we parked at the hotel.
