Day 2-Spokane, Washington to Billings, Montana

Today we explored Riverfront Park in Spokane.  The park is under construction, so unfortunately we did not get to see that much, but it looks like a neat park and we plan to return to Spokane to visit it again and see other sights in the city.

Our first stop with the GIANT Radio Flyer Wagon. It was so big!

After the Radio Flyer we walked around the park to try and find all the sculptures.

A really neat looking metal art owl.

We left the park and stopped to get some Dutch Bros on the way out of town.  We drove through Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and into Montana.

Beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene

We started seeing signs for 50,000 Silver $ and said, we should see what it is!

Lookout Pass is 4,711 Feet in Elevation

Welcome to Montana!

We arrived!

Scott chatting with the locals

Turns out there are over 71,00 Silver Dollars.  When we first read the billboard, we thought that we were going to see the largest Silver Bar, but it turns out there are all these individual silver dollars that are hung on the wall.

Storm cell...it dropped a few drops of rain on us, but otherwise it was a beautiful day for driving..

This was taken after the sun had set.  It was crazy how light out it still was.  We arrived in Billings, Montana very late at night.
